Review:
You know that giddy feeling you get when your just smiling your way through a book loving every damn minute of it? That is this book. I enjoyed reading this book so so much. It was a refreshing take on romance, showing a marriage rekindled.
Gavin and Thea are on the brink of divorce & pro baseball player Gavin looks to his teammates for advice. Suddenly, he is summoned to his besties basement for what turns out to be a secret romance book club made up of men. Gavin is baffled but the guys convince him to read a Regency romance and learn how to woo his wife.
I cannot tell you how much joy this book brought me. I laughed and cried and generally felt so happy while reading. My favorite parts were all the book club moments and play by plays from the guys. They were hysterical! They called the romance books manuals, which cracked me up! The relationship rebuilding was also a joint effort between Thea and Gavin, which was so nice to read.
Out today! I could not recommend this book more!
